Tributes pour in for Ballickmoyler, Carlow dentist following his passing

Tributes have been paid following the death of Peter Fletcher of Upper Moangarriff, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballickmoyler, Carlow.

He passed away peacefully on the 16th of April 2024.

Much loved husband of Laura (née Henry), and dearly loved father of Ruth, Bel, Annie and Laura. Adored grandfather of Sadhbh, Brian, Kate, Conor, Martin Óg and Molly. Brother of Mary and Margaret and the late Frank. He will be sadly missed by his sons in law Michael, Roel and Martin, sister in law Aveen, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: "Sincere sympathy to Laura and family on the sad occasion of Peter's death. My parents always spoke so highly of Peter and the Fletcher family.They shared many happy times with Peter in Carlow Golf club. I remember Peter in earlier years as my dentist. He was always kind and very much gentleman May Peter RIP."

Another reads: "Sincerest condolences to Laura and all the family on the passing of Peter, long time friend, good company, good fun, great memories. May he Rest In Peace."

And finally: "Sorry to hear about Mr Fletcher's passing. He was my dentist years ago and a lovely Man he was. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Condolences to all his family."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at home (E91 RF70) from 4pm - 7pm on Friday, 19th April. Removal on Saturday, 20th April, to S.S. Peter and Paul’s Church for Requiem Mass at 1.00 pm. Cremation will take place privately. House private on Thursday 18th and Friday morning please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Médecins Sans Frontières.
