WEATHER: 'Scattered showers possibly developing' Carlow weather updates for the day

Met Éireann and Carlow Weather have provided their weather forecasts for Carlow Town and surrounding areas for the day.

Looking first at Carlow Weather for the day on X: "Some heavy showers in the South by morning and moving into Western areas with some scattered heavy showers in afternoon and risk of thunderstorm but some nice late sunshine for many and Wednesday will see less showers and more sunny spells."

"Cloud and rain pushing into the South with some heavy falls possible in the Southwest over next 24 hours but some nice early sunshine further North."

Then looking to Met Éireann's forecast for the day: "Mostly cloudy or misty this morning, with some sunnier breaks developing later. Some scattered possibly developing later. Costal mist may drift in later this afternoon too. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in light to moderate easterly winds."

This evening's look: "Drier conditions developing with some clear spells developing overnight. Lows of 7 to 11 degrees in light easterly breezes. Mist patches too."

Then a positive look at the early predictions for tomorrow's weather forecast: "Sunny spells with cloud decreasing towards evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, with just light easterly breezes."
