Daft has reveled statistics on the Carlow rental market

New statistics from Daft show that Carlow rent prices are on average 8% higher than the same period last year.

Market rents in Leinster's south-eastern counties rose 7.2% year-on-year, down from 14.8% in early 2023. In Carlow, market rents were on average 8% higher in the first three months of 2024 than a year previously. The average listed rent is now €1460, up 47% from the level prevailing when the covid19 pandemic occurred.

They have also released a breakdown of average rents based on size of the property, along with the increase in that rent from the same period of the first quarter of last year in Carlow.
