Highest temperatures generally ranging from 20 to 23 degrees
Carlow Weather and Met Éireann have provided their local weather forecast for the day for County Carlow and surrounding areas.
Firstly looking to Carlow Weather and X: "A lovely start to the day with a nice morning ahead but a change in weather coming as cloud, wind, showers and cooler air moves in from the West later today."
"A nice bright morning for many but that low out to the West will swing cloud and showers into the West soon move across the country through the afternoon and evening. Rain amounts will be low for most though."
Then looking to Met Éireann: "Largely dry this morning with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Cloud increasing from the west during the afternoon but with further spells of hazy sunshine likely. However, showery outbreaks of rain will then push in from the west during the evening. Highest temperatures generally ranging from 20 to 23 degrees with moderate southerly breezes."
This evening: "Showery rain will ease early tonight and it will be dry for a time with clear spells for many. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in fresh and gusty southwest winds."
Then looking at the early prediction for tomorrow: "Fresh and breezy on Thursday with showery rain expected to move in from the west. Rainfall amounts will be fairly small though, with decent dry and bright spells at times. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees in fresh and gusty southwest to west winds."
