People in two Carlow areas warned water will be switched off for five hours tonight
Residents in two areas in Carlow are being warned their water will be off tonight for five hours.
An alert has been circulated due to the shut-off which is necessary because of essential works.
The water serving Brownshill Avenue and Bennekerry Village and surrounding areas will be turned off from 7pm to midnight on Thursday, July 4.
