The road works will commence on the 24th of July till the 16th of August 2024
Carlow County Council have announced that a County Carlow road will be under full road closure for a period of over 3 weeks starting coming up this Wednesday, the 24th of July 2024.
The road in question is the N81 in Rathvilly will be under full road closure on the aforementioned date until Friday the 16th of August from Monday-Friday from 8.00am-6pm.

From the Carlow County Council Community Information on Facebook:
"Carlow County Council will be carrying out resurfacing works commencing on Wednesday 24/07/2024 from 8:00am to 6pm until Friday 16/08/2024 on the N81 in Rathvilly. A full road closure will be in place during hours of work, Monday - Friday with diversion route signed.
Residents and members of the public who normally use the aforementioned road are advised to plan their journey accordingly taking into account possible delays.
Carlow County Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to members of the public who reside at or normally use the road in question and will endeavour to have the works completed by the appointed time. "
