Tributes pour in for a 'Character' from Graiguecullen following his passing

Patrick (Paddy) Conville - Sunday 21st July 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Patrick (Paddy) Conville of 4 Henry Street, Graiguecullen and formerly of Little Barrack Street, Carlow.

Patrick passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2024 at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Beloved husband of the late Teresa, much loved father of Phyllis, Mary, Patricia, Martin, Peter, Noel, Therese, Aíne, Patrick and Olivia, much loved son of the late Murta and Mary (Little Barrack St.) and brother of the late Mary, Julia and Kathleen.

He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother Owen, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

His family would like to thank all the various people who've helped him over the years, especially Deirdre his care worker, the staff and volunteers at St Fiacc’s House who helped him live independently and the staff at St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny, who provided so much care for him in his final days.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:

"Condolences to Paddys family on his sad passing. Another character from Graiguecullen gone. May Paddy Rest in Peace."

Another reads: "My deepest sympathy to all of The Conville Family at this very sad and difficult time. May Mr. Colville rest in peace.
My thoughts and prayers are with you."
