William (Willie) HOSEY - Friday 9th August 2024
Tributes have been paid following the passing of Mr William (Willie) Hosey, of Castlemore, Tullow, Browneshill Road, and 38 St. Killian’s Crescent, Carlow
William passed away in the care of the loving staff of Sonas Nursing Home in Tullow.

Willie will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathleen, his nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends and wonderful neighbours.
Willie is now reunited with his parents, John & Ellen, his siblings, Paddy, Molly, Josie, Maggie, Jack, Eamonn, Noel, Brendan, Lil and Lena.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"Deepest sympathy to Kathleen and family on the sad passing of Willie, Willie was a true gentleman, may he rest in peace."
Another reads: "Condolences to all the Hosey family. Grew up as next door neighbour to Willie in the Crescent. A lovely family. May Willie rest in peace. "
A third user writes: "My sincere condolences to Kathleen & the extended Hosey family on the recent passing of Willie, a gentleman."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at the home of his niece, Mary Amond O'Brien, Browneshill Road, Carlow (R93Y2W2) on Sunday 11th August from 4pm to 7pm, and travelling via Castlemore on Monday, 12th August for Requiem Mass at 2pm in St Patrick's Church, Rathoe (R93D430) with burial in adjoining cemetery.
