The club post to their Facebook page about the incident last night the post reads:
"The night before we are due to start our FAI Summer Soccer camp this is what we find on our front door.
We are due to have 80 young boys and girls here tomorrow morning at 10am. Would you like your child to be meeting this at the front door?
The club Secretary removed 8 teenagers from the club grounds at around 8pm this evening.
3 girls and 5 boys of approximately 14 years of age, although 1 boy looked younger.
They were in the process of building a camp on our grounds. When they were made to tidy up their mess where they damaged and broke down trees, the 5 boys ran and left the young girls behind them."
Following this initial post to social media Parkville provided an update yesterday.
"We have to acknowledge the positive just as much as we highlight the negative.
Parkville United would like to extend a huge thank you to the three parents that have made contact today in relation to the vandalism that took place yesterday.
It's not easy to pick up the phone the way they did and the club are going to work with the parents and children involved and get a small project up and running in the club.
Please share this message just as much as yesterday's post as this is the most positive outcome that we could have hoped for.
A response from the community is what Parkville United really needed.
Thank you."
