Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees
Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas to start the week and it is not looking like the best week of weather for Carlow as things stand.
Firstly looking at today's weather by Met Éireann:
"A few patches of light rain and drizzle about this morning but it will brighten up for a time from the south with hazy sunny spells developing. However, thicker cloud will spread from the west this afternoon with rain moving in during the course of this evening. Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees with strengthening southerly winds."

This evening:
"Becoming wet and windy tonight with outbreaks of heavy rain bringing the possibility of some spot flooding. Lowest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds."
Tomorrow:
"A wet and breezy start on Tuesday with outbreaks of heavy rain and the continued chance of spot flooding. A clearance to sunny spells and isolated showers will follow from the west during the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees in fresh southerly breezes."
Tomorrow night: "Clear spells and isolated showers early on Tuesday night. Showers will become more widespread across the western half of the country later in the night, some heavy. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate southwest winds."
