Myshall is set to welcome home, Eamonn Tracey following his third successive World Championship win in Estonia this month.

The people of Myshall will hold a homecoming for the World Champion on the main street in Myshall on Sunday the 1st of September at 6pm.

"Words can't describe how proud the people of Myshall/Drumphea/Garryhill are of Knocklonogad's Eamonn Treacy on winning the World Ploughing Championship three times in a row. Congratulations Eamonn and best wishes to you and your family on achieving such a wonderful accolade in your ploughing career."

And from Carlow Ploughing's Facebook Page: "A homecoming will be held for Eamonn Tracey our 3 in a row world ploughing champion on the main street in Myshall at 6pm sharp on Sunday the 1st of September. Refreshments to be served after in Roberts Pub. Please come and show your support to our world champion to mark this great achievement."
