Gardaí in Carlow investigate robbery where suspect had a 'offensive weapon'

Carlow Gardaí are investigating an incident in which a robbery of an establishment occurred with the suspect brandishing an ''offensive weapon". The incident took place at an unnamed Tullow Road establishment on Sunday September 1st in County Carlow.

From the Carlow Gardaí:

"A business premises was entered by a suspected male - An offensive weapon was produced to staff and demands were made for money to be handed over.

Staff complied with the request and the suspect left the store.

No person injured. Occurred at 10.50am."

Gardaí are looking for assistance from the public who may have CCTV or dashcam that would aid their investigations, anyone with information is urged to contact Carlow Garda Station at 059 9136620.
