Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees
Carlow Weather and Met Éireann have provided their daily weather updates for County Carlow and surrounding areas.
Firstly looking to Carlow Weather on X:
"A mixed Wednesday ahead here with best of sunny spells away from East where there will be some showers and more cloud. Feeling cool today too in biting Northerly wind. Good sunny spells to follow Thursday and Friday with lighter winds but cool."
Then looking at Met Éireann's forecast for today:
"Rather cloudy at first today with a few showers about. However, it'll brighten up during the day with sunny spells developing. Rather fresh and breezy with highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in blustery northerly winds."
Tonight:
"Cold tonight and mostly dry but there is the chance of a few showers drifting in from the Irish Sea. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees in light northwest breezes."
Tomorrow:
"It will be largely dry on Thursday with plenty of sunshine and just the odd shower. A fairly cold day for October with maximum temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate north to northwest winds."
