Tributes have been paid following the passing of Frank Dawe ofSkibbereen Residential Care Centre and Carlow.
Frank passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the staff at Skibbereen Residential Care Centre

Frank (retired Head of School of Engineering at South East Technological University, Carlow), beloved husband of the late Jean, much loved father of Naomi, Frances and Sarah. Lovingly remembered by his daughters, sons-in-law Adrian and Paul, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"Dear Sarah, Naomi and Frances, I wish to offer you and your family and friends my sincere sympathies on the passing of your beloved dad, Frank. I remember him and your dear mom, Jean, from my days in Carlow. They were lovely people and, like you, contributed so much to the community.
May they now be at rest."
Another reads: "Our deepest sympathy to Frank's family on his passing. Frank was a valued charter member of Carlow Lions since 1977. He held many important positions in the club and was its President in 1983. The members greatly appreciate his years of service to the Carlow community. Rest in peace Frank."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 10.30am to 11.30am followed by Cremation Service at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork at 2pm. This will be livestreamed here.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired to Brain Tumour Ireland or Lisheens House, Skibbereen.
