Tributes paid to Carlow man who was a 'lovely kind gentleman' following his passing

Dennis Byrne - Carlow Town, Carlow - Saturday 12th October 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Dennis Byrne of 29 Upper Staplestown Road, County Carlow

Dennis passed away peacefully in St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny on the 12th of October 2024.

Cherished brother of Bernadette, Therese, Dorothy and the late Dolores, Tony, John, Paschal, Edward, Eugene, Ronald and Anna Mary.

He will be sadly missed by his loving sisters, sister-in-law, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Deepest condolences to all Dennis family. Such a lovely lovely kind gentle man. It was a pleasure to have know him and been his carer. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Rest in Eternal Peace Dennis"

Another reads: "Sincere condolences to Therese and family on the passing of Dennis - a gentle soul who will be missed very much. May he rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 5pm on Tuesday, October 15th, with removal at 7.30pm to The Holy Family Church, Askea, arriving for Prayers at 8pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
