Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.

With a dull looking day ahead but not the worst.

Firstly looking at today's weather by Met Éireann:

"Mist and fog patches will gradually clear through the morning to leave a dry day for many with limited bright spells and just the odd spot of light rain or drizzle. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in light westerly or variable breezes."

This evening:

"Mostly dry overnight with some clear spells. Some rain and drizzle too. Lowest temperatures generally of 7 to 11 degrees in light, southwest or variable breezes with mist and fog patches developing."

Tomorrow:

"Largely dry albeit a mostly cloudy day with just a little light rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees in light southwesterly or variable breezes."

Wednesday night:

"Continuing mostly dry and cloudy. Temperatures falling to between 8 and 12 degrees in light southwesterly or variable breezes, moderate near northern coasts. Mist and fog patches will develop."

An early look to Thursday: 

"Staying mostly dry and mostly cloudy with limited sunny spells. Still some patchy light rain and drizzle at times. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with mostly light southwesterly winds, moderate near northern and western coasts."
