There is a major oil spillage on the L2021 and N81 between Ballon and Clonegal
Carlow road users have been warned to take 'Extreme Caution' as there is a major oil spillage on County Carlow road.
The spillage is at the L2021 and N81 road between the villages of Ballon and Clonegal.

"Carlow County Council’s Tullow Municipal District office advises that there is a major oil spill on the L2021(and N81) between the villages of Ballon and Clonegal, on the roadway going via Bang-Up Cross, Ardattin village, Monaughrim, and Clonogan.
A crew has been dispatched to treat the spillage - all road users are being advised to drive with extreme caution. "
