WEATHER: 'Patchy Drizzle and Mist' Weekend Weather forecast for Carlow

Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees

Met Éireann have provided their weekend weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.

With more dull weather to come with outbreaks of drizzle across the weekend.

Firstly looking at Met Éireann for today:

"Largely dry and cloudy today, Friday, with patchy drizzle and mist. The cloud may thin out at times allowing some limited brighter intervals to occur. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in a light to moderate southeast breeze."

Tonight:

"Mostly cloudy conditions will persist tonight, although a few clearer breaks will occur too. There'll be a few patches of drizzle, mist and hill fog but it will be generally dry overall. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in a light to moderate southeast breeze."

Tomorrow:

"Saturday will be another mostly cloudy day with a few patches of light rain or drizzle along with some hill and coastal mist and fog. Some limited bright or sunny spells will occur too. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in light to moderate southeast winds."

Saturday Night:

"Often cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. A clearance to mainly dry and cooler conditions will push into western and northwestern coastal counties towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds, veering westerly with the clearance."

Sunday:

"Damp and mostly cloudy in the east to begin on Sunday with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Drier, brighter and cooler conditions in the west will gradually extend countrywide in the afternoon. After a mild and humid start in the east, it will turn fresher with the clearance. Afternoon highs of 12 to 15 degrees in mainly light westerly breezes."
