Local Carlow Whiskey, The Busker, has won 4 gold awards at the Irish Whiskey Awards 2024.
The Busker which is produced at the Royal Oak Distillery in County Carlow and had just received more plaudits by Blas Na hÉireann earlier in the year.

One of the members of the team at The Busker wrote on their social media account:
"Delighted to announce that The Busker has won not One... not Two.. Not Three.. but and amazing Four Gold Awards at last night at the Irish Whiskey Awards. The greats of the great in the Irish whiskey world gathered together and we took home the Gold. Fantastic news for Royal Oak Distilley and Carlow as we just come off the back of being chosen by Blas Na HEireann as Best Producer in the Food & Drinks category for best in County as well as our Pot Still winning for Best Irish Whiskey overall."
