Tributes paid to Carlow woman who was the 'nicest sweetest ladies' following her passing

Anne (Moll) BYRNE (née Hogan) - Nurney, Carlow - Sunday 24th November 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Anne (Moll) Byrne (née Hogan) of 103 Riverview Close, Tullow Road, Carlow and formerly of Ballytarsna, Nurney and Craan, Leighlinbridge, Carlow. 

Anne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her daughter Diane’s home on the 24th of November 2024.

She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, her 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Declan, David and Eamon, Nicole’s partner Luke, James’ partner Katrina, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Really sorry to hear the sad news.. Anne was honestly one of the nicest sweetest ladies U could of ever met. You fought a very hard battle and made your family proud. Will miss our chats I hope you get the best bed in heaven because god knows you deserve it"

Another reads:

"Rest in peace Ann lovely lady condolences to her son and daughters and all her family and friends "

Funeral arrangements 

Reposing in Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Eircode (R93 C863) on Monday, November 25th, from 3pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal from there on Tuesday at 9.45am to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
