WHAT'S ON: Get in the festive spirit as the Christmas Tree Festival takes place in Carlow

Carlow Union of Parishes is set to bring the 2024 Christmas Tree Festival to get you into the festive spirit coming up from the 29th of November till the 1st of December 2024.

The official opening of the event is set to take place at St Mary's Church at the Haymarket, Carlow by Bishop Adrian Wilkinson, the Bishop of Cashel, Ferns and Ossory.

The event starts with the official at 12 noon on Friday the 29th by Bishop Wilkinson.

From The Carlow Union of Parishes:

"Come along and see traditional, creative and contemporary trees on display, all submitted by local groups, schools, and businesses. Live music, refreshments and a raffle throughout the weekend. Don't miss this spectacular event to lift your Christmas spirits!"

The entry fee for the event is €5 for adults and children under 12 can go to the event for free.
