Tributes paid to Carlow woman who was 'kind, gentle, and caring' following her passing

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Theresa Curran (née Byrne) of 12 Michael Collins Park, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow.

Theresa passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on the 10th of December 2024.

Predeceased by her loving husband Joe, parents Mick and Mary, sisters Nancy and Esther and brothers Pat, Bill and Jim. Sadly missed by her loving sons Joe, Pat and Mike, daughters Bridget and Marie, daughters-in-law Kelley, Ann Marie and Wendy, sons-in-law Paddy and Chris, sister Bridie, brother Tony, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, her 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Sincere condolences to the Curran family on the passing of your lovely mam "Mrs Curran" as we knew her.. she was a kind, gentle and caring neighbour and dear friend to my granny "Mrs Molloy" next door. So many fond memories of her over the years. May she rest in peace"

Another reads:

"Sincere condolences Joe, Pat, Mike, Bridge & Marie & extended families at this sad time. Mrs Curran was such a good neighbour to my Gran throughout her life in Collins park. Rest in peace Mrs Curran"

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing at her residence on Thursday from 4pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly on Friday for 2pm Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest in Rathvilly Cemetery.
