Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees
Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.
A cold day expected across the county but bright with sunny spells and hopefully not much rain.
Firstly looking at Met Éireann for today:
"Cold and bright today with sunny spells and showers. The showers will become isolated by afternoon. Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees with moderate to fresh west to northwest winds."
Tonight:
"Cold with a touch of frost possible. Dry with clear spells and lowest temperatures between 1 and 3 degrees, in moderate southwest to west winds."
Tomorrow:
"Cloudy for tomorrow morning with outbreaks of rain, clearing by afternoon. Blustery conditions with sunshine and scattered showers will then follow, becoming increasingly isolated by evening time. Maximum temperatures will range between 8 and 10 degrees, in mostly fresh to strong west to southwest winds."
Friday Night:
"Becoming cloudy as outbreaks of showery rain move in from the Atlantic during the night, clearing to isolated showers by dawn. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty west to southwest winds."
