Local school on the Carlow Laois border, St Fiacc's National School, has applied for planning permission for a new astro turf pitch on the school's premises.
The planning application was received on the 20th December 2024.

The location of the school is St. Fiacc’s National School, Killeshin Road , Graiguecullen, Carlow County Laois.
The details of the planning permission are as follows:
The construction of an astro turf pitch, associated lighting & fencing, and all associated site works.
The planning decision is set to be made on the 22nd of February 2025 and the decision once made can be found on Carlow Live.
