A local Carlow soccer club has their planning permission application close for a number of works to take place at their pitch located in Carlow Town, including a brand new full sized astro turf pitch and additional works to take place.
The local Carlow football team is Hanover Harps Football Club located in The Plots, Rathnapish, County Carlow.
The planning permission was submitted to the Carlow County Council on the 16th of July 2024.
The works included in the planning permission are:
- A new full sized astro pitch
-Flood lighting
-Sports Fencing
-Ball Stop netting and all associated site works
The original date for the decision for the planning permission was due to be made on the 9th of September 2024, although a decision is now expected to take place on the 3rd of March 2025.
