Home of the Year will be on RTÉ One on Tuesday evening 8.30pm
We are well and truly back into the swing of RTÉ's hit show Home of the Year, as episode 3 is coming on Tuesday evening with three more stunning homes to be featured on the programme all across Ireland.
This week's episode features homes from Wicklow, Carlow, and Dublin, and by the sounds of it, we are in for a treat.
We have already seen some beautiful homes feature on the new series of the show that began airing again last month, so how will tonight's homes compare.

The first home to feature on the episode will be a former fisherman and dockers cottage in Wicklow, owned by Clive Restan, which was just a burnt-out shell when he purchased it in 2021.
Clive knew exactly what he wanted from his home. New York Loft meets Irish cottage. It was important to him to restore it allowing the true craftmanship of its original construction to shine through. The stone and brick walls were peeled back and lovingly restored. He wanted the building to do the talking without being overpowered by modern interference, almost to look like it hasn’t been designed at all. He injected new life into it along with the conscious decision to create an analogue home in a digital age.
Clive has fully restored the cottage with immense attention to detail whilst preserving the history of the building and allowing it to do the talking, sourcing unique items to compliment the industrial patinated aesthetic, such as rowing oars from the 1850’s and lights from an old theatre.
Looking then to Jenny-Anne who lives in a contemporary new build in Dublin with her two children and husband.
The design makes use of a site previously containing a derelict garage structure to the rear of an existing property, subdividing a single plot into two dwellings.
Their home displays a novel approach to city living as it is a 2-bedroom infill dwelling on a very restricted site that is designed to provide generosity and great comfort to its owners.
The family love the clever design and how it allows for every corner of the dwelling to be used efficiently and practically.
And finally on this episode is Gemma and Martin Purcell who live in County Carlow with their 3 children in their home that was built in 2023.
Gemma has a background in design and was very passionate about taking on the job of building their own home. For the self-build, she worked closely with their architect and builder on the plans and building design. She really enjoyed designing the fit-out and interiors throughout the house.
Gemma was heavily influenced by Scandinavian design as she loves a simple, functional and warm decorating style, which mixes neutral colours, and natural woods with simple lines to create a fresh and cosy aesthetic.
Gemma and Martin love the sense of light and space throughout the home and how it works well for their 3 kids.
The episode will be broadcast live on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player at 8.30 pm on Tuesday evening, and who will be the next home that will enter the grand final?
