Carlow County Council have received a planning application for the construction of 65 new homes to be built in County Carlow.

The location of the proposed new homes is set at Kilcarrig, Bagenalstown, County Carlow.

The planning permission was applied for by Peter Bolger Consulting Ltd and the application was submitted on the3rd of June 2025.

The details of the planning permission are as follows:

The construction of number 4 dwelling houses.

The construction of 65 number two storey dwellings, comprising of 22 number semi-detached dwellings, 9 blocks of 3 number terraced dwellings and 4 blocks of 4 number terraced dwellings.

New splayed vehicular entrance and separate pedestrian access, connection to local watermain, public sewer, and all associated site development works

A decision is due to be made on the 28th of July 2025.

Updates of the decision made by the Carlow County Council will be posted on Carlow Live when they are made.
