RIP: Tributes paid to Carlow man who sadly died after a short illness

Tributes have poured in for Carlow man William (Willie) Cummins who passed away recently.

William was from Askea Lawns, Carlow Town and formerly Tullow in Carlow and died on 13th September 2025 suddenly following a short illness.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Ada and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Janice, son Kevin, stepchildren Abe and Nainsí, brothers and sisters John, Carmel, Katherine, Margaret, Elizabeth, Vanessa, Christopher, Caroline, Rose and Emma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
