Éist Cancer Support Centre has made a shout-out after a large donation was made to their organisation in Carlow.
Éist Cancer Support Centre provides emotional support and practical help to anyone affected by cancer diagnosis, their familiesand carers. 
The centre is a peaceful, tranquil, supportive place where all those affected by cancer can avail of support and  they are very reliant on fundraising and donations.
In a post on Facebook, the support group said: "a heartfelt thank you to Baltinglass Town AFC and Jack Nolan of JP Nolan Sports for raising an incredible €1,540 for Éist Cancer Support Centre as part of this years 2025 Keeper’s Cup, which took place on 10th August 2025 in memory of their former player and coach, Pauric Brady. 
"This amazing fundraiser not only supports Éist’s vital work with families affected by cancer in the Carlow community but also stands as a touching tribute to Pauric’s legacy and the spirit of our community. 
"Well done to everyone involved , what a fantastic achievement!".
