Burst water mains in Carlow Town causes major disruption for multiple housing estates
A number of housing estates in Carlow Town have been impacted by burst water mains on Wednesday, 1 October.
The water serving Seven Springs, Idrone Park, Oakley Park and Springdale on the Tullow Road have been affected since Wednesday morning and the disruptions are expected to last until 6pm on Wednesday evening.
Uisce Eireann has apologised for any inconveniences caused.
For all mains water and sewage enquiries, people are asked to contact the Uisce Eireann customer care phone line on 1800 278 278 (open 24 hours 7 days a week).
