“It was a real pleasure to meet so many of Carlow’s local people, and to see first-hand the incredible work they are doing for the environment. The passion and dedication on display were truly inspiring, both collectively and individually. Presenting this series has been an enjoyable and uplifting experience, and it has shown just how much of a difference community spirit can make in shaping a greener future for us all.” Alan commented.

The series was previewed at a special gathering on 29th September in Moka Coffee Shop, Haymarket, in Carlow town, where podcast guests came together to hear snippets of their stories and connect with fellow contributors.

The event highlighted the strong sense of community and shared purpose that underpins the project.

Speaking at the launch, the Cathaoirleach of Carlow County Council, Cllr Ken Murnane, praised the podcast as “a celebration of the incredible work happening in our communities , much of it unacknowledged and certainly underheard. The groups featured in this series represent just a fraction of the passionate individuals across Carlow who are quietly shaping a greener, stronger county for future generations.”

Carlow’s Eco Journey is now available to stream on iTunes, Spotify, and all major podcasting platforms from 9th October.
