RIP Colette Hickey

Tributes have poured in for Carlow native Colette Hickey (née Hutton) who sadly died recently.

Colette was from Bog Lane, Ardristan in Tullow, Carlow and died peacefully, at her home on October 8th, 2025 surrounded by her heartbroken husband Michael, sons Colm & Paul, daughters-in-law Amy & Deirdre.

Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, mother Ann, grandchildren Caitlin, Conor, Fionn, Charlie, Michael, Darragh and Erin, sister Eileen, brothers Kevin, Noel, Johnny, Paul and Vincent, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours & her many friends.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:

Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Colette, with one mourner writing,

"Deepest sympathy to the Hickey and Hutton family on the death of Colette she was a lovely lady and had a heart of gold may her gentle soul rest in peace fly high to the angels Colette xxx".

Another message said, "From all of us our sincerest condolences to you all on your huge loss. Colette you fought a hard battle with dignity and pride. You leave behind a wonderful family Michael Colm and Paul and Mrs Hutton. There are simply no words
She is at peace reunited with Niall who was always a topic of conversation and never forgotten. Condolences to her brothers
RIP Colette a great neighbour and friend to us all".
