Storm Bram will bring very strong to gale force southerly winds with the strongest winds along the coast as multiple counties are issues status orange weather warnings.
People in Carlow are warned ahead of possible flooding, difficult travelling conditions and strong winds.
Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Wexford have been issued with a status orange weather warning valid from 7am Tuesday December 9 until 3pm Tuesday December 9.

• Flooding of low-lying coastal areas, especially during high tide
• Wave overtopping
• Difficult travel conditions
• Debris, loose objects displaced
• Outdoor events impacted
Also, a status Orange wind warning has been issued for Mayo, Clare, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim and Sligo and this is valid from 10am Tuesday December 9 until 6pm Tuesday December 9.
