Carlow commuters urged to get familiar with updated Irish Rail train timetable
Commuters in Carlow are being urged to get familiar with the updated Irish Rail train timetable.
A number of small but significant changes have been introduced to the Dublin to Waterford route ahead of the busy Christmas period.
That route includes Carlow and Bagenalstown as stops.
The train departing Heuston to Waterford at 16:10pm will now be departing five minutes earlier at 16:05pm, but on Fridays only.

The 13:05pm train from Waterford to Heuston will also depart five minutes earlier and will now leave at 13:00pm.
This change will affect the route daily.
The 20:20pm Waterford to Heuston train will still run at the same time but the stops including and between Hazelhatch and Parkwest will be removed.
A number of other minor changes have come into effect on other lines too, and commuters are being advised to allow for extra travelling time during the busy Christmas period.
The revised timetable is currently in place and has been approved by the National Transport Authority.
