A status yellow weather warning has been issued for several counties in Ireland including Co Carlow.
The rain warning will effect counties Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford, bringing blustery rain with spot flooding.
Motorists in Carlow are warned due to difficult travel conditions during this time.
The weather warning is valid from 12pm-6pm Thursday March 5.
