Multiple power outages in a number of Carlow areas expected this weekend and next week

A number of areas in Carlow are expected to be affected by power outages across this weekend and two days next week. 

Carlow County Council has advised that it has received notices from the ESB stating that there will be a number of power outages happening. 

It means that some infrastructure, such as traffic lights and pedestrian lights, will be out of action. 

As a result, road users are being asked to err on the side of caution when approaching affected areas. 

Between 8am and 11am on Sunday, March 22nd, there will be no power on Moffatt Street/Church Road/Slate Row, Hacketstown.

After that, everything will be normal again until Thursday, March 26th. 

Between 9:30am and 3pm, the Tullow Road, Ardattin, will have no power.

Friday, March 27th, will see the most power outages with The Square, the yet to be properly named Inner Relief Road, Barrack Street/Ballymurphy Road, Abbey Street/Bunclody Road/Templeowen/Bellwood Drive/Rathtoe Road, Ardattin Road/The Mullawn, Steeple View, and Church Street all to be without power.

The outage that day will be between 9am and 5pm for all the areas affected.

All streets/areas mentioned in relation to Friday are in Tullow.
