A disqualified driver was arrested in Carlow after testing positive for a cocktail of drugs during a roadside stop.
Gardaí attached to the Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle in Tullow after detecting it had no insurance.
In a post on social media, An Garda Síochána Carlow said: "Carlow RPU while patrolling Tullow stopped a vehicle for No Insurance. On speaking to the driver it was confirmed he was disqualified."
A roadside drug test was then carried out, which returned a positive result for multiple substances.

"A drug swab was conducted on the driver which returned Positive for Cannabis, Methamphetamine, Opioids and Cocaine.
"Driver was arrested," gardaí confirmed in the post.
