Three Carlow footballers have been named on the GAA.ie Football Team of the Week following the county's historic Division 4 final victory at Croke Park.
Padraig Bolger, Conor Doyle and Ross Dunphy were all recognised after playing key roles in Carlow's dramatic win over Longford, which saw them claim a rare national title after extra time.
Dunphy was among the standout performers, hitting 1-3, while Doyle contributed 0-4 and Bolger also played a crucial role in a battling team display.
In a post on X, Carlow GAA said: "Congrats to Padraig Bolger, Conor Doyle & Ross Dunphy on being selected on the GAA's Team of the Week.

"With 8 top teams involved in the League Finals last weekend this is some achievement.
"Well done to the 3 lads who were part of a superb Carlow team performance on Saturday."
Carlow were pushed all the way by Longford before eventually sealing the win in extra time, marking a major milestone for the county and a perfect boost ahead of the Leinster championship.
