A popular Carlow business has been listed among the most complained-about companies in Ireland in 2025, following an investigation into incorrect refunds.
Ryanair topped the list, with Rathwood in Tullow placing second, and Curry's third.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) was contacted in relation to complaints about goods or services over 42,000 times last year.
Complaints were made regarding customers not receiving the correct refunds after cancelling orders when goods were not delivered.
The consumer watchdog conducted an investigation into the company as a result.

If goods aren’t delivered, customers have a legal right to cancel their order, and the business is required to issue a refund without delay.
The CCPC forced Rathwood to sign a legally binding commitment that promised to repay those affected by April 2nd 2026.
It's understood that the people affected had ordered their goods between October 1st 2024, and September 30th 2025.
By March 5th 2026, those customers had still not been refunded, unless by chargeback.
Rathwood also promised to provide the CCPC with a list of all affected customers by April 9th 2026.
