According to Picodi.com, Ireland is the 10th most expensive place to buy a coffee out of 102 countries.

According to Picodi.com, Ireland is the 10th most expensive place to buy a coffee out of 102 countries.

Here are some of the statistics from the findings:

  • In order to afford a cup of cappuccino (€3.37 average price), Irish people have to work for 12 minutes (ranked 10th out of 102 countries)
  • Andorra ranked 1st with only 8 minutes of work required (followed by Australia also with 8 minutes and Switzerland with 9 minutes)
  • Nigerians have to work for over 2 hours (135 minutes) in order to get a cup of cappuccino
