Carlow gardai investigating criminal damage to van and theft of large amount of diesel

Gardaí in Carlow are investigating criminal damage caused to a van and theft of a large amount of diesel from two vehicles in incidents which occurred in recent days. 

In the first incident, the passenger window of a van was smashed while parked on Greenbank Road over the weekend. The Citroen Berlingo van was parked in a carpark between 6pm on Friday and 9am on Sunday.

Nothing was taken from the van. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information to contact gardaí in Carlow. 

Gardaí are also appealing for information in relation to the theft of diesel from two vehicles overnight between Thursday 1st December and Friday 2nd December at Kilcarrig St, Bagenalstown.

The two vehicles were parked in a yard when the incident occurred. A large amount of diesel was taken from each vehicle. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who might have information related to this incident to contact Bagenalstown Garda Station.
