Carlow school takes part in Christmas initiative

Some pupils from Ballinkillen National School took part in the Carepack Initiative which connects elderly people in nursing homes with kind people who send them a gift for Christmas.

Principal Michelle Doorley says that Carepack 2022 has been a "huge success" and "we are very proud of our school community for supporting this initiative which has resulted in 21,000 residents around Ireland receiving a gift this Christmas." (Founders Geraldine Monaghan, Stephen Griffin).
