A ROAD in County Clare has reopened after a road hazard was cleared on Monday morning.
A number of fire appliances were called to a local road at approximately 10.20 am due to debris on the road surface.
According to the Munster Regional Communications Centre, three appliances from Limerick Fire Service and two appliances from Killaloe Fire Station attended the scene of a road hazard on the R463 between Killaloe and O'Brien's Bridge, near Knockadrohid.
A witness at the scene reported that it appeared a truck had shed its load of rocks and stones, and that the road was cleared by 12pm.
