A DRIVER was stopped by Clare Roads Policing Unit at the weekend after overtaking multiple vehicles on a County Clare road.
According to An Garda Síochána, they overtook up to 12 vehicles while travelling at 117kph on a road with an 80kph limit.
The driver was stopped and issued a €160 fine and 3 penalty points.
The driver on the left was one of a number caught speeding over the weekend by the Clare RPU.
