CLARE County Council have issued a closure notice for the car park of a village railway station.
Due to essential maintenance work, the railway station car park at Sixmilebridge is temporarily closed indefinitely.
The closure is effective from last Thursday until further notice. Pedestrian only access will be in place and motorists are advised to take this into account when accessing the area.
The Shannon Municipal District of CCC have apologised for any inconvenience caused and has thanked the public for their patience and understanding.
