A cancer charity in a Clare town has been granted planning permission to replace its flat roof.
Clare County Council has greenlit an application to remove the existing rear flat roof at West Clare Cancer Center on Corry Lane, Kilkee and replace with an A-pitched roof.
The charity was founded in 1998 by William and Mary McGrath to raise funds to support cancer patients living in West Clare.
The planning permission was confirmed this week (August 9, 2023) following two months of deliberation.
