THE MISS Ireland competition witnessed the participation of some remarkable individuals who graced the stage. Among them, Clare woman, and Miss Munster, Hannah Morrissey, who was part of the top model category.
"I thoroughly enjoyed competing in this year's Miss Ireland," Hannah Morrissey expressed with enthusiasm. For the Ballyea-native, the competition was an opportunity to push herself beyond her comfort zone and test her abilities.
Hannah was one of ten selected to model dresses from Simply Divine on the night, but another significant aspect of her Miss Ireland journey was her dedication to raising funds for the Limerick Marine Search and Rescue, a charity close to her heart.
She further elaborated on her experience in the competition, highlighting the remarkable qualities of her fellow contestants. "The women that entered the competition this year were kind, inspiring, and extremely down to earth," she shared. "It was a pleasure to work alongside them, and I have made some lasting friendships".
At the end of last Saturday's Dublin-based event, the crowns were bestowed upon the deserving winners. Jasmine Gerhardt and Glen Williamson were crowned Miss and Mister Ireland 2023, respectively.
Hannah had nothing but praise for them, stating, "Both Jasmine and Glen are extremely talented and deserving of their titles. I wish them both success for the exciting year ahead."
