Burglary of Clare retail unit sparks garda investigation

A BURGLARY at a retail outlet in Clare has sparked a garda investigation.

Gardaí in Ennis are investigating a burglary at a commercial premises on the Limerick Road.

While the exact time of the offence is unknown, gardaí say it happened between midday on Tuesday, November 7 and Friday, November 10.

During the course of the burglary, a number of items were taken, including: coal, briquettes and some identifiable items such as a Stihl garden clippers and a Red Honda lawn mower.

Gardaí are  now appealing to anyone that may be approached to buy these items to contact their local garda station.
