Clare pub labelled a 'gem' named in Sunday World Pub Spy top 10 for 2023
A Clare pub has been named among the top 10 visited by the Sunday World's famous secret drinker Pub Spy in 2023.
The Pub Spy segment in the Sunday World is still as popular as ever with the secret punter travelling the country to sample pubs and their pints.
Legendary Clare pub, Cruises in Ennis, has made the cut and was listed among the cream of the crop by Pub Spy.
In the Old Commando's review of Cruises pub, the veteran drinker said:
“A gem” is how our Commandos described this fabulous pub. We loved everything about this place from the interior stone walls to the flagstone flooring.
"It’s no surprise to us to learn it was a three time Clare Pub Of The Year award winner from 1994/95/96. A must visit boozer for anyone in the Ennis area."
