Clare take on Limerick in the Munster SHC final at Semple Stadium in Thurles at 4pm on Sunday | PICTURE: Sportsfile
Clare take on Limerick this Sunday afternoon in the Munster SHC final - for the third consecutive year.
The reigning Munster and All-Ireland champions have defeated the Banner County in the last two Munster finals, while the sides have met five times in the round-robin series, since 2020. Limerick have won three of the round robin fixtures, Clare one and there was one draw in 2022.
Both teams each finished with three wins and six points following the round-robin series of fixtures in this year's championship but it was Limerick who finished top of the table thanks to their better scoring difference.
The Shannonsiders earned the bragging rights in the opening round robin fixture on April 21 when they defeated Clare at Cusack Park, Ennis on a scoreline of 3-15 to 1-18.
